It's been an incredible, emotional and exhausting 3 days (plus several months of prep before), but the first Pocket Gamer LaunchPad has now come to an end.
We've been overwhelmed by the support from mobile gamers the world over on the site, social channels and Twitch stream. We're also super greatful for all the publishers and developers who created and shared insight on the 53 games we covered, as well as the supporting coverage from sister sites 148Apps and AppSpy, plus our friends at Enthusiast Gaming, specifically Destructoid, The Escapist, Silconera and Nintendo Enthusiast.
The LaunchPad section will remain live for the forseeable future, so you can check out all the cracking stories, features and videos to your heart's content in the weeks ahead. Here’s an interesting one for Sci-Fi fans. We’ve got the first gameplay reveal of sweeping, stark sci-fi Chaotic Era, an RTS set across an ever-expanding space simulation in which you’re racing against extinction.
As we say in the article, it's a tough one to wrap your head around until you see it moving. At that point the stellar-drift simulation and incredible 'lens' which you use to leap from colony to colony sudden become things of awe - and I could barely pull myself away.
