Team-based, twin-stick mutant shooter Hovergrease announced for mobile and more, Kickstarter coming soon
HoverGrease is a 5 vs 5 hero-shooter which will be coming to Kickstarter later this year, we are pleased to reveal. Altergaze, the team behind the top-down shooter will be taking the game to raise funding and interest ahead of their planned 2021 early-access release for mobile and big-screen platforms.
Set in a distant, dystopian future HoverGrease stars a roster of animalistic mutants, each with their own, unique arsenal of weapons and abilities - melee only Bull? Check. Healing-focused rat? Check. Players take on the role of one of these heroes in each of the tight, twin-stick rounds, fighting their way around a variety of maps in objective-based style.
We've had a sneak peek at the Kickstarter page for HoverGrease ahead of it's live date - which is planned to take place during Gamescom 2020 (Aug 25th-29th) - and can share some details ahead of the campaign start. This includes information on the PC, closed-beta which will be taking place from December onward.
