What are the Pocket Gamer team playing this weekend?

The Wrapp - Some maths, alien autopsies, and pets from the void

Welcome back to The Wrapp, and Happy Easter for those who partake when it rolls around. I'm not a particularly religious individual, but I do love chocolate, especially when it's egg-shaped and made by Cadbury's. It just hits different from their normal stuff. Anyway, this week, Iwan's looking forward to vampires and Shaun's dabbling with a Ubisoft game. I assume that's against his better judgment. But hey, Catherine and I are going to cut open aliens, so I can't really say anything.

Having been working on guides this week, I’ve had a chance to try out Titan Rush and Magicmon. I’m not all that compelled, to be frank, but then I think neither of those genres is really for me. But I am excited to hear more about the upcoming Clans of London, since I’m a fan of the Vampire: The Masquerade RPG.

Other than that, it’s business as usual. But with construction work back on around my neighbourhood, I think getting some decent sleep will be all the challenge that I need this coming month!

I have been a fan of The Division series for a while, despite its overly bullet-spongey enemies. Also, the Ghost Recon series is excellent, but that's besides the point. With The Division Resurgence having finally launched, I am excited to get involved. It might be a game that loses my attention since it does get repetitive. But I always find myself returning to The Division 2, so Resurgence might also be an on-again, off-again situation.

Besides that, I will be grinding out resources to create Wukong Prime in Warframe. I have been thinking about trying him for a while, and last night pulled the trigger and brought the blueprints in my first player trade, huzzah. I also tried out Follie, and wow, that is one unsettling Warframe. Well done to Digital Extremes.

Oddly enough, Alien Morgue has caught my eye this week, even though it looks incredibly morbid and morally questionable. The beauty of mobile is that you can easily jump in and play anything you want, then move on to the next shiny thing if it’s not your cup of tea. I’m curious to see if this one will stick, though - or I might just be watching too much Frieren lately that I’m looking for some sci-fi to take a break from all the high fantasy.

Speaking of Frieren, AFK Journey is gearing up for a collab with the anime in May, so that’s something I’m definitely looking forward to! I’d grab any chance to see Himmel back in action, to be honest.

Unfortunately, I have no April Fool's jokes for you here, especially since it would be poorly timed, considering that I'm writing this a few days after. Oh well, maybe next year. I'm still deep into Voidpet Dungeon, even more so since I discovered a new kind of event: Hunting voidpets. Sometimes legendary Voidpets will appear in the different areas, and if you beat them in each encounter, then they join your team. It kind of reminds me of the Djinn from the Golden Sun series, which is a nice taste of nostalgia.

Wicked Defense and Nen x Survivor have slowed down a bit (and the latter has stepped up its roadblocking procedures), but we'll see how things go.

Much like Catherine, I also have my eye on Alien Autopsy this week. However, I have no issues with the morbidity or the moral quandaries it presents. Apparently, Catherine is a much better person than I am. I’m somewhat kidding. In truth, while I don't believe in the whole Area 51 thing, I do enjoy all the craziness around it. Fling anything alien-related or paranormal in general my way, and I'll probably have a good time with it. So, sure, hand me a scalpel, and I'll slice open a Grey or two.
