Honor of Kings, Another Eden, Tower of God New World - We've Gacha Covered

Love 'em or hate 'em, gacha RPGs are everywhere - so much so that they dominate our mailboxes on most days since they're just filled to the brim with all sorts of shiny new things (and I do love shiny new things). Whether it's a fancy SSR character joining the lineup or a cool new region to explore, we've got a nifty list of updates here where we go through what's caught our eye so far! 

Honor of Kings

Who says ghosts and aliens have no place in MOBAs? Honor of Kings certainly begs to differ, as the supernatural forces of Dan Da Dan have just joined the fray. The crossover with the popular anime offers plenty of themed skins and minions to unlock, along with events that'll run until August 31st. Themed activities, once cleared, can net you exclusive rewards you can redeem at the Dan Da Dan shop - and who wouldn't want to explore UFO sightings and haunted sites within the Dan Da Dan world?

There's also the Spiritual Power Awakening challenge to take on. All you have to do is carry Momo to safety, after all - that is, if you can manage to escape Turbo Granny. All these come with the mid-season update that Honor of Kings has recently rolled out, with balance adjustments for heroes to switch up your strategies on the battlefield!

Tower of God New World

I feel like we haven't had a single gacha roundup that doesn't have Netmarble in it, have we? And that's totally fine too, as Tower of God: New World is celebrating its third anniversary - and we definitely wouldn't want to miss out on that.

The collectible RPG welcomes new Teammate [Family Head] Yirang Yeon, who can boost your continuous damage in combat with useful Burn effects. She also offers helpful debuffs as she can block HP recovery for all foes, and you can discover more about her narrative in the Labyrinth of Memories event too. Clear missions and you might just grab Yirang Yeon as a reward, with plenty of other events running until August 19th.

Another Eden

I played Another Eden again recently and enjoyed myself way too much, so it's lovely to see that it still is going strong after all these years. With Version 3.16.50, you can now dive into Apocrypha "The Ghosts of Hope" Part 3: Severed Days of Glory, with the new ally Theodorus joining the fray. There's also the fashionably fresh new feature called "Alterfits" that lets you switch up the appearances of your allies, with the first batch revamping Resort Fits for Claude, Isuka, and Hismena.

All that comes as part of the sizzling summer campaign where login bonuses abound - and extra Chronos Stones are always, always welcome. 

The Seven Deadly Sins Origin

I suppose it's only fitting that we wrap up with Netmarble again, as The Seven Deadly Sins: Origin is welcoming new playable hero Derieri, so you can look forward to wielding her Gauntlets, Greatsword and Axe weapons and unleashing her Duel mechanic on unwitting foes. And if that sounds fab to you, you'll be happy to know she comes with her own Pick Up Draw, along with the Hero Derieri Trial Event running until August 26.

As you progress through the new "A Reunion in Chaos" storyline, you can also dive into the Memory of Dimensions on August 12th to walk down memory lane and relive iconic scenes from the show! 

The King of Fighters AFK

Not one but two fighters are joining the chaotic brawl within The King of Fighters AFK this time around, with Ash Crimson and Zero (Clone). The former can boost your [Corrosion] Synergy while the latter can boost your [Special] synergy.

To make sure you gain the favour of the RNG gods, Netmarble is also running the Ash Crimson Arrival Event and the [Corrosion] Synergy Pick-Up event through August 19th. Plus, there's the Tropical Island event from August 13th to the 26th too to add Legendary Pets Blaze and Popsy to the fray - and pets are always fun additions to any endeavour, aren't they?
