Uncharted Waters Origin has officially begun global pre-registration
Line Games and Koei Tecmo have finally opened global pre-registrations for another iteration in their popular RPG series, Unchartered Waters Origin. The seafaring sandbox RPG was originally launched for Korean audiences in August 2022, and following its success, the rest of the world can now begin showing their interest in the title.
Uncharted Waters Origin brings back all the enjoyable adventures that its predecessors have brought over the last 30 years. Set in the 16th century during the Age of Discovery, players will find themselves plundering and pillaging across the seven seas as they engage in thrilling adventures, tough battles, and trade with fellow seafarers.
Origins has been built on Unreal Engine 4, just like Uncharted Waters 4. As a result, it offers players an extremely immersive experience with in-game mechanics such as the direction and speed of wind, currents, and waves being influenced by real-world big data. 4k graphics, 2D illustrations, and 3D models only serve to enhance this experience as players witness famous figures from world history.
Budding pirates will find themselves sinking in this stunning world thanks to a massive album consisting of over 104 fully orchestrated soundtracks including originals by YoKo Kanno. The South Korean edition has already garnered immense praise with four awards at the Korea Game Awards 2022 which include the Grand Prize, Best Scenario, and in the Sound category.
Pre-registrations for Uncharted Waters Origin will run until February 20th on the game’s official website. The treasure chest of benefits can be opened when the game launches as everyone to pre-register during this period will receive multiple items like ships, shipbuilding materials, and equipment that will provide an early head start.
