- The Traitors: Interactive Game sees you stepping into the world of the hit game show
- Forge alliances or provoke rivalries as your own character across 12 days of intrigue
- Discover who's Traitorous and who's Faithful in this standalone adaptation
With The Celebrity Traitors back on television, it wouldn't surprise me if many of you are in the mood for a game of deception and intrigue. In which case, you'll be glad to know that The Traitors: Interactive Game has just released for iOS and Android, bringing all the fun and theatre of the hit show to mobile!
Unlike The Traitors: Anywhere, another recent adaptation, which functions more as a multiplayer social experience, The Traitors: Interactive Game comes to us from Fusebox Studios, who have also made mobile adaptations of everything from Big Brother to Love Island. The Traitors will see you navigating complex rivalries, forming alliances, and attempting to survive to the end be you Traitor or Faithful.
Traitors Among Us
In the Traitors: Interactive Game, you'll create your character and step into your own version of The Traitors that plays out over 12 in-game days, with over 22 other characters to make alliances with, or get rid of depending on your allegiance. Along the way you'll even have your own host, with hair almost as fabulous as Claudia Winkleman's, in the form of Vivienne who manages your debates at The Round Table. The Traitors has DNA stemming from a long, long history of social deduction games. With that in mind, The Traitors: Interactive Game looks perfectly competent, but I can't help imagining they could've done more with it. After all, hits like the quirky Danganronpa used a similar theme and went much more surreal with it. However, for everyday fans, this will be a great way to experience the world of The Traitors for themselves.
After all that, if you're still on the hunt for more social intrigue and deduction, why not check out our list of the best mobile games like Among Us too?
