How to push in Shrimp Game

How to push in Shrimp Game

Shrimp Game is a marvel at recreating Squid Game within a (not so) simple Roblox experience. Below you'll find a complete guide on how to push in Shrimp Game, because if you want to win, this is something you need to know how to do!

What is pushing in Shrimp Game?

Pushing is a move that you've probably seen in Season 2 of Squid Game on TV, but also slightly in Season 1. This is a move that was implemented in Shrimp Game on Roblox to give players more incentive to play as accurately as possible.

This move is especially useful in Red Light, Green Light, which is the first game in Shrimp Game (inspired by Squid Game).

About the Red Light, Green Light game

Here, a huge doll will chant a song, and players have to reach the destination while trying not to die. Sounds simple enough, but even the slightest move can get them disqualified.

Here, players can only move while the green light is active, and as soon as the red light is on, they have to stop moving at all costs. That's where the Push move comes in handy.

With this move, you can push another player and basically disqualify them. The fewer players there are in the end, the higher your chances of winning.

shop with push and glass tester in Shrimp Game

If you want to be able to push other players, you can do that like this:

  • Open the Shop (on the left side of the screen), or head over to the Shop area.
  • In the Items tab, you will see a couple of moves: Push and Glass Tester.
  • Select the Push move, and then you can purchase it for 375k credits.
  • Bind it to your moves/skills bar at the bottom, and you're good to go!

Important to know

The Push move is a one-time-only use. This push will be usable in the lights game, as I mentioned earlier, so make sure you use it wisely. The best way to go about this is to have it, but you don't have to use it right away. Keep it in case you need it later on, and in case there's an opponent who is making things difficult for you.
