How to lock garden in Grow a Garden 2 (and stop players stealing from you)

Stealing is usually frowned upon, especially if we're talking IRL - but in Grow a Garden 2, that couldn't be farther from the truth. Unlike in Grow a Garden, stealing plays a huge role. Every night, your garden can be vulnerable to thieves, and you could lose some of your valuable crops.

And as you well know, some crops take forever to grow (looking at you, bananas), even if they're not the absolute best crops available. Of course, you want to avoid having anything stolen from you, so what CAN you do in that regard? 

Today, I'll teach you everything there is to know about how to lock your garden in Grow a Garden 2, so you will never have anything stolen from you ever again. 

What is stealing in Grow a Garden 2?

Stealing happens at night, and it basically allows other players to walk straight into your garden and harvest the crops you have. This only happens at night, and there are a couple of ways you can prevent this. Oh, and by the way, we do have a Grow a Garden 2 beginner's guide too, in case you're struggling with how to start!

How to lock your garden in Grow a Garden 2?

There are a few ways you can prevent this from happening, no matter how many crops or Sheckles you have. I will list them all below:

• Stay in your garden to keep it locked: Whenever you are inside the fenced premises of your garden, your crops are safe. Bear in mind that if you climb up a tree and its branches are outside of the premises, your garden will not be locked anymore.
• Buy a Bee pet: The Bee pet will attack intruders who come to your garden at night. It costs 1,000,000 Sheckles, and it's one of the best investments you can make once you have the means, and one of the best pets in Grow a Garden 2.
• Venus Fly Trap plant: This plant attacks players who come into your garden. It is a Mythic crop, so it's very rare to find.
• Dragon's Breath plant: This plant fires lasers at players intruding at night, but it is one of the rarest (and best) to find (Super rarity).
• Gnome: This is a garden gnome that you can place in your garden before leaving it unattended at night. The Gnome can be acquired from the Gear Shop, and it is a one-time use only, so use it wisely.
• Flashbang: This is gear that can be acquired in the Gear Shop, for Sheckles. This item will stun players, allowing you to smack them with the shovel more easily.
• (Robux only) Vine Wrapper: a gear that wraps people in vines.
• (Robux only) Power Hose: a gear that sprays people from a distance.
• (Robux only) Freeze Ray weapon: a weapon that freezes people.
• (alternative) Play on a private server: you can avoid all that stealing by simply joining a private server - if you want to, of course.

To lock your garden at night, you simply have to stay inside your garden. It is super simple, and I strongly suggest that if you have valuable crops, you DO NOT leave your garden at night. Keep it locked, keep it safe.
