Pokemon TCG Pocket reveals upcoming release date, with pre-registration now open
  • Gear up for a new collection to obsess over
  • Pre-registration now open on iOS and Android
  • Two booster packs available for free daily

The Pokemon Company has dropped the official release date for Pokemon TCG Pocket, inviting everyone to dive into the highly anticipated mobile title sooner than you think. Landing on iOS and Android on October 30th, the collectible card game is now open for pre-registration sign-ups as well, so if you'd love to get first dibs on it as soon as it launches, you'd best get on it too.

In Pokemon TCG Pocket, you can look forward to growing your collection of Pokemon cards from the comfort of your mobile device but with that same insatiable thirst to catch 'em all. You get to open card packs every day - with two booster packs available for free daily - featuring both old faves and fresh cards that are only available in this title. The illustrations will have a 3D feel for a more immersive vibe, which makes me think it's taken a little bit of inspiration from Marvel Snap in that respect.

Now, to stay true to the essence of Pokemon, you can also engage in casual card battles either alone or with your online besties, or proudly flaunt your collection with display boards and binders just because.
