Pokemon Go launches Season 10: Rising Heroes with loads of new events and Pokemon to catch

Pokémon Go has just launched Season 10: Rising Heroes which brings a tonne of action to the beloved AR game. Players can expect loads of new events, new Pokémon like Gimmighoul, and a bunch of others in XXS and XXL sizes. Elite Raids make a return too, offering trainers a chance to get their hands on the Legendary debutants, Regieleki and Regridrago.

Let’s first take a look at what the Rising Heroes holds in store for trainers in the month of March.

March Raids

Each week, a Legendary Pokémon will dominate the five-star raids, while Mega Pokémon will feature in the mega raids. In the five-star raids, players will find Incarnate Forme Tornadus, Ho-Oh, Incarnate Forme Thundurus, and Lugia. On the other hand, mega raids will feature mega versions of Charizard Y, Medicham, Venusaur, and Alakazam.

Spotlight Hours

Spotlight Hours are held every Tuesday from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm local time. This month’s spotlight Pokémon and bonuses are:

• March 7th – Eevee with 2x Transfer Candy
• March 14th – Rowlet with 2x Evolve XP
• March 21st – Litten with 2x Catch Stardust
• March 28th – Popplio with 2x Catch XP

Events

• Catch Mastery Event – Fighting-type Pokémon like Hitmonlee will appear more frequently in the wild on March 5th
• Festival of Colours Event – The Hindu festival, Holi celebrations return to Pokémon Go between March 8th and 14th
• March Community Day – Niantic has decided to keep this month’s community day Pokémon under wraps, but we’ll know soon enough
• Let’s Go! And Team Go Rocket Takeover – Giovanni and his minions are never up to good. What Shadow Pokémon will trainers have to save this time?
• Go Battle Day – On March 25th, players can fight for the featured Pokémon, Palmer
