With Pokémon Go’s Season 10: Rising Heroes just kicking off, trainers have embarked on a new adventure as Legendary Pokémon like Regieleki and Regridrago come to the AR game. March is going to feature a number of events like the Community Day and a Team Go Rocket Takeover.

But before those events go live, players will be celebrating the Hindu festival of Holi in Pokémon Go. It commemorates the triumph of good over evil. Trainers all over the globe can it take part in the Festival of Colours event between March 8th and 14th as we celebrate love and happiness.

When we celebrated the Festival of Colours last year during the Season of Alola, we saw different kinds of Oricorio show up in different corners of the world. This time, another colourful creature, Bruxish, the Gnash Teeth Pokémon will make its debut alongside Mega Medicham, who will feature in Mega Raids.

Since the festival finds its roots in India, trainers there will be able to enjoy some extra bonuses as well. A number of Pokémon will be found at an increased rate in the wild. This includes Jigglypuff, Hitmontop, Emolga, Durant, Dedenne, Noibat, and Chimencho. Field Research tasks will feature Unown G and O and everyone will be awaked 2x XP for catching Pokémon.

Trainers around the world will be able to take advantage of a few bonuses too. Lure Modules activated during the event will last three hours and Friendship levels will be gained twice as fast. Taking snapshots will also lead to a colourful surprise, so get those cameras ready.

During the event, players can also participate in a few quests. This time’s Collection Challenge will grant 20,000 XP and a Lure Module. Event-exclusive Field Research, on the other hand, will reward encounters with different forms of Pokémon like Oricorio, Castform, Burmy, and more.
