April already has a lot of content planned for Pokémon Go trainers, but Niantic felt that they could do with some more. Typically, every month, one Community Day is hosted and April’s has already taken place, with Togetic as the centre of attraction. But it seems like players have one more coming their way, with a Pokémon from the past making a return.

On April 29th, between 2:00 and 5:00 pm local time, the Community Day Classic will be held, featuring Swinub. The Pig Pokémon was originally a Community Day star in February 2019 and is back for another round. As a result, Swinub will appear more frequently in the wild, with its Shiny version oinking here and there too.

Like it is with most of these events, if players manage to collect enough Candy in order to evolve Swinub into Mamoswine before 7:00 pm local time, the latter will know the Charged Attack – Ancient Power. It deals 60 damage in trainer battles and 70 in gyms and raids.

While the regular Community Days also featured battles with the featured Pokémon, this event will not see that happen. In exchange, a few Field and Timed Research will go live, awarding trainers with items such as Stardust, Ultra Balls, and up to four Sinnoh Stones.

In addition to that, there are some event bonuses that will make the challenges easier as well. Players will receive 3x Stardust for catching Pokémon and all Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours.

To top it off, the Community Day Specia Research Story: Swinub Community Day Classic will also be available. It costs a dollar and grants access to a number of tasks and bountiful rewards. All these little quests on the 29th will lead to a bucketload of goodies for everyone.
