Pokémon Go trainers have recently completed their monthly Community Day adventure featuring Slowpoke and its Galarian buddy. Next stop is the Let’s GO! Event that begins on March 21st, followed by another Team GO! Rocket Takeover. But, it’s time to look a little ahead and prepare for April’s Community Day.

Pokémon Go’s April 2023 Community Day will be Togepi’s evolution, Togetic. On April 15th, between 2:00 and 5:00 pm local time, the Happiness Pokémon will be found in the wild at a much higher rate. Be on the lookout for its elusive Shiny variant too.

Players managing to catch a bunch of Togetics will eventually have enough Candies to evolve it into Togekiss before the end of the day. Doing so will unlock the Charged Attack Aura Sphere, which does 100 damage in Trainer Battles and 90 in Gyms and Raids.

Additionally, trainers can also access the Community Day Special Research Story – Spreading Cheer for $1.00 or your local equivalent. It includes a lot of different tasks and cool rewards to grab. Tickets will go live soon and can be purchased for friends as well.

Furthermore, the best way to play this event is to take advantage of all its bonuses. All Lure Modules and Incense activated during the event will last for three hours. There will be 2x Candy for catching Pokémon and Eggs will hatch in 1/4th distance. On top of that, there is a chance of Togepi hatching from 2km eggs obtained during the Community Day.

After the event, until 10:00 pm local time, Togetic will be part of 4-star raids, which Raid Passes can access and Premium Battle Passes only, not the Remote Raid ones. Clearing it will see Togetic appear around that Gym for the next 30 minutes.
