Meow Knights skill tier list (August 2026) - From disco balls to cat paws, all skills ranked
If you're looking to keep the peace in Cat Kingdom, you'll need all the ferociously feline skills you can get - and our Meow Knights skill tier list can help you rank all of them.
Apart from always landing on their feet and the uncanny ability to somehow look cute and menacing at the same time, cats have a plethora of skills no human mind can even begin to fathom. My humble little Meow Knights skill tier list hopes to rank all those skills to help you keep the peace in Cat Kingdom, and while it's not going to help you with figuring out why your IRL cat is how it is, it'll at least help you make sense of how to progress within this idle RPG.
Skills over companions
Now, you might be wondering why this isn't a Meow Knights tier list of cat companions instead - this is actually a deliberate choice on my part. Cat Companions, while cute, don't really do much except make you look cool in front of your enemies because you've got a nice big posse fighting by your side. At first glance, you might think that's what you're supposed to be saving your precious Gems for - but if you look closely, you'll notice that what these Cat Companions are really good for is sitting still and looking pretty (and they really are pretty, including that sad cloud with a horn that's aptly named Fluffy Cloud).
You see, Companions offer useful permabuffs for your main cat once owned (as you'll see in the Owned Effect description), as well as Companion Abilities and Companion Level Effects. They mainly boost your skill damage and cooldown and don't really have skills of their own, so the bottom line is that Skills are more important than Companions in this case.

That said, the RPG has very kindly already ranked all the skills in their own tiers, which effectively does all the hard work for you. You might be tempted, then, to simply auto-equip the skills and go about your day, but once you hit Orb Level 5 or 6, you'll start seeing that terrible Defeat banner popping up on your main screen.Keep in mind that you need to prioritise ATK, in my opinion, as bosses will have a time limit on how quickly you need to take them down. It's more about how fast you can defeat them rather than how long you can survive, which is why I've ranked the skills the way they are. Also, the more you summon, the more your Summon Level increases. Lv1 will only unlock up to C Tier, Lv2 for B Tier, and Lv3 for A Tier and S Tier. Lv5 unlocks the super ultra-cool R Tier.
Right - so, without further ado, let's get on wth the Meow Knights skill tier list!
1
D Tier
- Skull Throw - takes the top spot in the D skills as, apart from simply dealing damage, it also increases damage taken by your foe for 3 seconds, with the damage increase scaling with your level
- Cat Claw - takes the 2nd spot because it deals an extra attack when you have a Cat Companion, which you almost always will have
- Cat Slash - deals damage AND also applies enhanced attacks twice
- Fire Ball - the most blah skill

C Tier
- Dance Time - takes the top spot in C Tier; my favourite skill because it's just so flashy (okay, it boosts attack speed too)
- Arrow Rain - takes 2nd spot; applies enhanced attacks thrice! And deals DOT (damage over time)
- Cat Punch - again, deals extra damage when you have a Cat Companion with you; max of 2
- Ice Spear - deals damage thrice and scales with your level
3
B Tier
- Hand of Death - takes the top spot in B Tier, as it deals damage as well as inflicts Fear with a 30% chance
- Witch's Cauldron - deals damage that scales with your level, bigger AoE damage
- Wild Hiss - deals damage that scales with your level
- Wild Stab - applies boosted attacks 5 times

A Tier
- Bounce! - takes the top spot in A Tier because it deals damage AND boosts your movement speed that scales with your level
- Thunder - deals lightning damage 5 times
- Earth Splitter - deals damage, and also applies enhanced attacks 8 times
- Furball Roll - deals damage that scales with your level

S Tier
- Giant Tuna - I mean, it summons a giant tuna. It can't get any better than that (and it boosts your cat companions' attacks too!)
- Phantom Slash - deals 4 attacks, and applies enhanced attacks a whopping 10 times!
- Wing Cutter - a dragon deals damage 9 times
- Meteor - a meteor deals damage 7 times
- Death Scythe - a grim reaper deals damage that scales with your level

R Tier
- Grand Cross - takes the top spot in R Tier for me as it deals damage 10 times, with skill damage that scales with your level over time!
- Blizzard - deals DOT, and might just freeze your opponents for 3 seconds with a 20% chance
- Battle March - deals damage and also boosts your party's attack speed
- Cat Hammer - deals a ridiculous 1,300% damage (does that number even make sense) twice, which scales with your level
- Catcalibur - deals damage 5 times, and applies enhanced attacks a whopping 15 times
- Dragon Breath - deals damage 6 times and scales the damage output according to your level
And with this Meow Knights skill tier list, I hope you get a better grasp of how you should allocate your skill slots to keep Cat Kingdom safe.
