Being a shonen series, My Hero Academia is not short on characters. And that offers a truly dizzying number of options for developers to bring to the small screen. In the case of My Hero Academia United Survival, the roster is a little smaller than usual, but it still has plenty to rank!
Which is precisely what we’re doing here in the My Hero Academia United Survival tier list, where we see if characters live up to their presence on screen and page, or whether they got whacked with the nerf bat as they made their way to mobile.
While no tier list can be truly all-encompassing, I’d say we’ve given each character a fair shake and looked at their abilities closely. So, if you do disagree, then let us know why, and we can always look at shifting the rankings over time!

S Tier
These are undoubtedly the most well-rounded and crucial characters to pick from. Even if they’re not particularly important in the series that United Survival is based on, it shouldn’t surprise you that the fan-favourites are the ones getting the most highlights here.
It’s also worth noting that characters can be increased in terms of rarity. So while you may be lucky enough to pull a higher rarity character, generally once they’re unlocked it’s a matter of upgrading them further if nothing else. Leading characters don’t do much differently apart from being the ones controlled, so typically you’ll want those with either simple abilities or a specific lynchpin to hold the team together.

A Tier
This is where we’ve got meat-and-potatoes characters that’ll serve well either as leaders or members of your team. They have decent abilities, but definitely shine in one area over another. Some of these characters would be placed higher, but I’m mainly reserving S tier for ‘must leads’.

B Tier
This tier marks characters with definite drawbacks. They’ll usually be the most help as members of your team, offering their very niche abilities to help clear out enemies, but not as leaders.

C Tier
We usually don’t go down to ‘D’ anymore, since rankings such as these inevitably change. However, these can be easily classified as lacklustre, with abilities and passive bonuses that really don’t measure up or are superseded by other, better characters.

Reroll Guide
Rerolling is easy in MHA United Survival, but if this is your first gacha game it may be useful to know how this neat trick works. And the best part is that it (almost) always works in other games of this type too, if you're willing to put in the time and effort! Of course, nowadays certainly early pulls are guaranteed, but still, you don't try and you don't get.
Rerolling simply works by going through your customary gacha intro and then getting to your first chance to freely roll. Be sure not to link your data or Google Play/iOS account beforehand. Once you get your free roll, simply use it, see what you get, and if you aren't satisfied, delete and clear the cache of the game before reinstalling and starting again.
Now, as I found it, MHA United Survival basically guarantees Midoriya for the first one in SR form. So it may be better just to swallow your pride and stick with it. But if you want to experiment, then give it a go!
