Level Infinite's hit over-the-shoulder shooter Goddess of Victory: Nikke is set to celebrate two and a half years since launch with its newly-released 2.5th anniversary event. Expect new characters, chapters, events and many more additions to reward loyal fans. And yes, there will be minigames too.
To kick off the update, we've got the addition of three new SSR Nikkes to the roster. Second-generation Grimm Little Mermaid of the Old Tales Squad joins Special Recruitment alongside Mihara: Bonding Chain. Meanwhile, the final addition, Mori, will be available as part of special rewards for the event too. Just be sure your roster is jam-packed with powerful Nikkes, as you'll need all the help you can get to defeat the newest additional boss, Gluttony.
Little Mermaid herself is set to be introduced in one of the cornerstone events for this anniversary, Unbreakable Sphere, which takes your Nikkes beneath the waves and to the titular Unbreakable Sphere map. This island that floats in the deep sea is full of all sorts of fascinating wreckage and relics of the past.
It's not just additional Nikkes that you can look forward to in this event either, as there's a whole host of other additions. The Bubble March minigame, for example, lets you play an Age of War-style mini-RTS as you work your way through a map of different battlefields.
And if you've been wanting to update your Nikkes' wardrobes, then you'll be glad to know that alongside new costumes for Little Mermaid, Grave, Cinderella and Mihara: Bonding Chain, we'll be seeing reruns of fan-favourite costumes from the past too.
