Published by Noodlecake Games (a storied publisher on this site) and developed by three-man studio Butter by the Fish, Flick Shot Rogue is a swashbuckling roguelike adventure where you literally flick your heroes into battle. As you flick them towards enemies, they'll both attack and activate special abilities with various special effects, all of which can swing (or flick?) the battle in your favour.
Flicking across the high seas
Of course, as you might expect from the name, Flick Shot Rogues is also a roguelike at heart. As you explore the island, you'll run into various different characters and potential decisions, all with potential rewards or drawbacks that can dramatically break the game in your favour.With its colourful cast of characters, all with various abilities, and equally devious combos that can be pulled off, while I can't see Flick Shot Rogues being for everyone, I can certainly see this being a hit with fans of roguelikes when it releases this September.
