INVEST IN ADVENTURERS

If you want to succeed in Dungeon Village 2, you shouldn't do quests yourself but hire reliable people to do them for you. These people are called Adventurers. They are an integral part of the game. Each adventurer has a job and specific stats that measure their power: HP, Attack, Defence, and Magic.

Investments in adventurers will unlock new constructions and give you more items. And if you take care of adventurers’ equipment, they will bring in more revenue, significantly simplifying the gameplay.

You also need to work on your adventurers' satisfaction levels. Each adventurer has a certain level of satisfaction, determining how quickly they will move to your town. The more facilities you create for adventurers, the faster they will move in and bring you money.

TIP #1 - EARN KNOWLEDGE POINTS

One of the necessary items in Dungeon Village 2 is the Cauldron. It allows you to throw a specific amount of items inside a pot and get valuable rewards. But to get really valuable items from the Cauldron, you need to earn Knowledge Points. They are given to you every time you mix something inside the pot.

The best strategy is to make cheap items like Fresh Milk, Regular Tea, Spicy Corn, and Sweet Juice and mix them inside your Cauldron. Even though this will cost you an arm and a leg in the early stages of the game, it will pay off once you reach 999 Knowledge Points. This will unlock valuable late-game items that can bring you significant income.

TIP #2 - GIVE GIFTS TO THE CITIZENS

Although many players are sceptical about gifting adventurers, it is one of the best ways to grow in Dungeon Village 2. You should start gifting weapons, armor, and accessories as soon as you have money. Don’t be afraid to spend all your money. If you have potent heroes, you will always earn it back by defeating monsters and doing other activities.

However, do remember it’s not a good idea to share rare weapons or powerful armor with weak adventurers who cannot benefit from them. And if you have an adventurer with good stats, giving them powerful armor and weapons will significantly increase their effectiveness.

TIP #3 - DO NOT FOCUS ON QUESTS

One of the biggest mistakes you can make in Dungeon Village 2 is to focus on quests. Although they are a necessary part of the game, many players try to complete as many quests as possible. As a result, they cannot deal with overpowered enemies.

The best way to avoid such a situation is to complete quests gradually. Give your units enough time to level up and increase their stats every time you complete a quest.

If you are already in such a complex situation, getting out of it requires much effort. Start by levelling up your adventurers and earning money. You can use the cauldron when you need additional resources.

TIP #4 - DO NOT BUILD THE SAME BUILDINGS

Building in Dungeon Village 2 is one of the most significant aspects of the game that is worth a separate guide by itself. But here, we will simply explain why you don’t need multiple buildings of the same type.

You can construct plenty of buildings in Dungeon Village 2. Each construction requires a significant investment of money. For example, the Blimp Station costs a staggering 12,100G, which is a considerable amount even if you are in the middle stages of the game. And if you have a lot of buildings, they will take up a lot of your money and resources.

The only exception to this rule is the Inn. It can give you significant income by selling weapons to adventurers. Therefore, you should have at least a few Inns in your town. Fortunately, Inn costs only 600G, making it one of the most accessible buildings in the game.

That’s it with our beginner’s guide for Dungeon Village 2. Even though the game is a perfect option to relax with, you should learn pretty much in-game systems and mechanics if you want to progress.
