Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile soft launches in yet another region ahead of this year's full release

The highly anticipated mobile port of the extremely successful Call of Duty: Warzone FPS battle royale has launched within Sweden after previously being exclusively available in Australia. Now, players within both regions can experience one of the most hyped releases of the year and get their boots on the ground ahead of the rest of the globe.

Warzone mobile is pretty much undeniably the most exciting release for many gamers this year, as it’s become quite the phenomenon on PC and consoles since it launched a few years back. Contending with the likes of giants like Fortnite and PUBG, and succeeding in a massive way, it’s become a touchstone of gaming for those that love the genre.

And with the announcement of a mobile port on the way followed up by a soft launch in Australia, many have been wondering when it would expand out into the rest of the world. While that still hasn’t quite happened, another soft launch within Sweden is a good step in the right direction and inspires some confidence that the rest of us may see it sooner than we think.

In the meantime, players within those two regions exclusively can now give the high-octane FPS battle royale a go and get ahead of the rest of us. Of course, given this is a soft launch, it’s a little limited in what you can do when compared to what will be the full release.

Currently, there are only two game modes available: a Quad player queue and a Duos queue. There are also two regular multiplayer playlists available for the two maps currently in-game: Deathmatch and Possession. Alongside these, there are the typical social features, as well as meta progression like the Battle Pass, Challenges, Weapon unlocks and things of that nature.

Overall, it’s exciting to see Warzone Mobile finally branch out to other places. Hopefully, we’ll be able to play it worldwide pretty soon here, but in the meantime, if you’re located in Sweden or Australia, you can download Warzone Mobile at the links below!
