Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile's beta client gets a huge update for the brand new Season 2 content

Activision has announced that the soft-launched version of Warzone Mobile, which is currently only available for Australian gamers to play in beta form, will receive a brand new season of content. This is a bit odd given how small the player base currently is due to the beta being only playable in Australia currently, but it is good to know that even a beta is receiving some pretty significant updates.

Warzone Mobile is very likely one of, if not the most, anticipated mobile releases of the year. With it being a mobile adaptation of one of the biggest battle royale games out there currently, many FPS fans are eager to get their hands on this one. Currently, we have only a 2023 release window with no word on a solid date, so those of us outside of the Australia region will just have to wait.

In the meantime, Aussie gamers will have a lot to look forward to with Season 2. There’s a brand new battle pass available, with two new weapons and a brand new Operator available as you progress through it. On top of this, there are also two new Field Upgrades, alongside a new Gunsmith Progression update too!

That’s not even touching on the quality-of-life updates such as improved performance, new visual updates, new hit register improvements, and many more. Consult the Tweet linked above for the full rundown, as well as the future plans for incoming updates.

Despite the limited availability, it’s excellent to see that Activision is committed to providing Warzone Mobile with the same care the console and PC edition gets. Hopefully, we outside of Australia will have a chance to get our hands on it soon, but in the meantime, be sure to follow the Official Twitter account for more updates!
