Albion Online introduces a brand new Asia-Pacific server, allowing more of the world to experience the crafting heavy PvP focused MMO
The popular and still heavily supported MMO Albion Online has officially opened up servers for Eastern players after teasing this launch a little earlier on in the year. This new server is meant to allow Eastern players, primarily within the Asia-Pacific region, to play this lovely PvP-heavy MMO without having to open up a VPN or operate on super high ping.
Albion Online has seen a lot of success, with frequent updates and a steadily growing playerbase despite being nearly 7 years old. With an engaging gameplay loop that mostly consists of crafting higher tier gear while taking part in constant progression within a player-driven economy and a PvP scene that will cause you to lose your hard-earned gear permanently, it’s a unique beast and the playerbase loves it due to how niche of an experience it truly is.
Now, with the launch of a new server, more players will be able to try it out for themselves! But that’s not the only selling point of a new server, as a brand new place to play means that this Asia-specific server will get to experience a new and untouched version of the Albion world.
Free of the top-tier guilds that already hold a grip over the other server along with any resources that have already been sapped up and the player-created buildings will be absent too. It’s a blank slate for players of this server, and that’s quite exciting given it’s an experience no one has had since the game originally launched.
So, if you’re looking for a community-focused, PvP-heavy, crafting-based MMO to play with your friends or solo, you truly cannot go wrong with Albion Online. If you’d like to give it a go for yourself, you can download it for free at either of the links below!
