LINE Games announced today that their multiplatform action roleplaying game UNDECEMBER, developed by Needs Games, will launch its global version on October 12th. Pre-registration has opened up on Google Play, and a demo will be available on PC throughout the upcoming Steam Next Fest beginning on October 3rd.

UNDECEMBER is looking to scratch that Diablo itch, first and foremost. It’s got the same sort of top-down camera angle from a third-person perspective, a similar hotbar layout wherein your skills will be displayed at the bottom of your screen with a health and mana pool next to it, and even the aesthetics and general vibe are pretty darn similar.

Where UNDECEMBER separates from that comparison is surely in its unique way of going about a class system - or, to be more exact, the absolute lack of one. There’s no Warrior, no Thief, no Priest here. Instead, UNDECEMBER presents a new concept to the ARPG genre with a classless combat system that instead just leaves your combination of skills and passives completely up to you.

You’ll collect Skill and Link Runes from your general gameplay, each of which presents a new ability for you to wield, and you’ll have plenty of chances to grab these as you tackle various challenging single-player and co-op content. There are even Raids and Guild Battlegrounds too, so you PvP fans are sated just as much as the PvE players. All-in-all, there’s a lot of content variety here that’s sure to keep you engaged.

If you’re a fan of grimdark style and really unique combat with the collectable Skills that allow you to build your character pretty much however you please rather than being stuck to a select few skills and trees, UNDECEMBER is exactly what you’re looking for.

Currently, pre-registration is only open on the Play Store, but an App Store page is planned to launch pretty soon, so keep an eye out!
