Undecember, Line Games’ hack and slash ARPG, has officially launched in South Korea, global launch to follow soon
The highly anticipated hack and slash ARPG Undecember has officially launched in South Korea today. Developed by Needs Games, Undecember can be downloaded on Android and iOS in South Korea, with a global launch planned in the first half of 2022.
The game is set in a dark fantasy world called Traum, created by 12 gods who arose from the void. Traum was an extremely peaceful land, with the descendants of the gods living there happily, worshipping their creators, and spreading good across the nation. Things, however, got Traum-atic when a 13th god Serpens showed up.
He claimed to be an evil god whose only goal was to destroy Traum and everything the good deities created. Chaos ensued and an endless battle between the gods began. Serpens was too strong and in desperation the good gods all combined with Serpens, forcing all of them back into the void. The descendants, in a quest to bring their deities back, began using Zodiacs, items capable of reawakening beings of the past. What they didn’t realise is that this would bring Serpens back too.
In Undecember, players assume the role of a Rune Hunter who must make their way through perilous dungeons where they battle against fearsome bosses. It will feature in-depth customization, with players being able to create their character based on their preferred playstyle by using millions of different combinations of gear and Rune skills.
The game will feature a single-player story mode divided into Acts, and multiplayer modes like Chaos Dungeon, Raid, Spire of Barrier, Crusade of Glory, and Guild War, which will feature groups as well as PvP battles. At launch, South Korean users can enjoy up to Act 10 of the campaign.
For the rest of the world, pre-registrations are still active, with Undecember crossing over 3 million in just a few weeks. Download/pre-register for the game for free on the App Store and Google Play. Also, check out the best RPGs to play on mobile!
