The popular gacha open-world RPG Tower of Fantasy has announced its next update, Version 2.4, which is due out on March 30th and will come with a bunch of new content including a brand new location alongside a new addition to the main story. This new map specifically is the first of its kind, introducing players to an area that is fully submerged and takes place almost entirely underwater, making for a brand new sort of experience that hasn’t been seen before within Tower of Fantasy!

Tower of Fantasy has seen a lot of success since launching a short while ago, with its sci-fi setting mixed in with the high fantasy vibes of something like Genshin Impact. Throw in the lovely anime-inspired character designs and art style alongside an impactful story, and there’s a lot to dig about it.

Now, with Version 2.4, players will be transported to a setting they have yet to have seen within the game. This new area, Innars, is a grand ocean full of many mysteries and discoveries to make as you traverse it, and also plays a big role in the new chapter of the story that focuses on Innars itself.

The trailer featured above gives us a small peek at what to expect from the new plotline. The underwater city of Innars seems to be under duress courtesy of the antagonistic Grayspace force, and it’s up to the protagonist and their group of allies to defend it as they slowly uncover more and more about the city itself.

For now, that appears to be all that’s included in this update, but a brand new massive space to discover and explore within sounds like more than enough to keep players busy.
