The successful open-world gacha RPG Tower of Fantasy has announced plans to soon launch console variants of the game for the PlayStation 4 and 5. While the game has been out on mobile and PC for a while, this could be some very exciting news for gamers who own both consoles and mobile devices, as their accounts will likely carry over between the two, offering different ways to keep up on progression depending on which you prefer!

Tower of Fantasy has seen a continuous amount of love since it launched a few months back. Mixing sci-fi elements with a beautiful and fantastical open world alongside character customization, an enticing story, and combat that will remind any gacha gamers of the legendary Genshin Impact, there’s a lot to dig here.

The story especially has been a big reason for the continued success, as the characters are all excellently written and the plot revolves around a semi-post-apocalyptic story within a super futuristic setting, making for an interesting world all around. Add in the seemingly never-ending stream of updates and new characters, and it’s clear why the game has blown up as such.

And now, announced during Sony’s recent Playstation Showcase, Tower of Fantasy will soon be playable on the PlayStation 4 and 5 respectively. Not only is this great news for mobile gamers who have wanted to be able to play the game on other platforms they may own, but it also means that you’ll be able to experience this beautiful world in gorgeous 4K and likely 60FPS on the PS5 especially.

Given this announcement, I’d say it’s also a pretty safe bet that cross-platform progression will be possible too since your data is linked to an account rather than a device. So, when you get home from a busy day of playing Tower of Fantasy on your phone, you’ll be able to log right in on your PlayStation and get to grinding even more!
