Street Fighter: Duel, the first RPG in the popular franchise, has now opened pre-registration

Crunchyroll Games just made a massive announcement today as they are bringing a highly beloved franchise back to mobile. That’s right. Street Fighter is coming to Android and iOS in the form of the series’ first RPG, Street Fighter: Duel. It is currently open for pre-registration in limited countries, including the United States of America, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and a few European countries.

Street Fighter: Duel will offer a classic RPG experience as players will build a team of three fighters using popular characters from the franchise. Over 40 fan-favourite heroes will be available, including the likes of Ryu. Akuma, Chun-Li, and Cammy. Each will have its own unique signature abilities and moves that can be chained to create insane combos.

The game will feature real-time RPG combat and an auto-battle mode as players make their way through the Shadaloo. Of course, things wouldn't be complete without a PvP mode, which will allow players to go online and take on others so the ultimate champion may be crowned.

Speaking about the upcoming title, Terry Li, General Manager and Senior Vice President of Emerging Business at Crunchyroll Games, said: “Street Fighter has been an iconic game for generations, and we know anime fans love to go on exciting adventures with beloved characters. We’re excited to collaborate with Capcom to bring Street Fighter: Duel and its incredible roster of iconic fighters to anime and gaming fans alike.”

In addition to the iconic characters that will be part of the base game, players will also be able to unlock other exclusive skins which will offer fresh looks to all these heroes. Players can begin pre-registering for Street Fighter: Duel using either of the links given below. Loads of rewards are promised when the game launches sometime in February.

Until then, take a peek at this list of the best RPGs to play on mobile!
