Street Fighter: Duel brings the legendary devil hunter Dante into the game with the new Devil May Cry V collaboration

Crunchyroll’s recently released and quite popular gacha brawler RPG Street Fighter: Duel has announced that it will soon host a crossover event with Capcom’s other equally popular franchise: Devil May Cry. Specifically, this collaboration will focus on Devil May Cry V, so be ready to see the main character from the fifth entry make their way into Street Fighter: Duel!

Street Fighter: Duel hardly needs any introduction. It’s based on the legendary Street Fighter series, and takes the gameplay of the normal entries down into a microcosm, turning it into a party-based fighting RPG. All of your favourite characters from Street Fighter’s massive roster are here, and with this new event, you’ll be able to throw the Devil May Cry protagonist Dante into the mix too!

That’s right - beginning on May 11th, you’ll be able to take the legendary demon hunter Dante alongside the likes of Ryu and Chun-Li to do battle against your foes. Story-wise, the excuse for this is the mysterious emergence of the Qliphoth from Devil May Cry 5 into the world of Street Fighter: Duel, where M. Bison has begun to try to take power from it. Of course, it’s up to you to make sure that doesn't happen.

Alongside the new character, there will also be a new game mode called Devil Invasion, which will earn you Demon Soulstones, which can then be traded at Nico’s Store. There’s a variety of rewards here, including collectable Demon Stars, that will all be useful for growing your fighters and collecting cosmetics too.

Needless to say, this is a heck of a crossover, and if you’re a fan of Devil May Cry, you won’t want to miss out on grabbing Dante to add to your team. If you’d like to prepare accordingly for that May 11th launch date, you can download Street Fighter: Duel for free at either of the links below!
