Sage's Path: Convergence tier list (April 2026)

If you want to recruit the best shinobi to fight alongside you, you'll want to check out our Sage's Path: Convergence tier list.

If you're a die-hard Naruto fan, Sage's Path: Convergence is probably already downloaded on your platform of choice. In this gacha RPG, you summon famous shinobi to create your dream team before making them fight against other ninjas.

It's certainly not revolutionary, as we've already seen its mechanics in pretty much every other game of the same genre. You have to gather a special currency to recruit your units, watch them fight by themselves in short battles, and upgrade them with resources looted during the process. There are also AFK rewards.

Upgrading characters takes a lot of resources, though, so if you need more, don't hesitate to check out our Sage's Path: Convergence codes list. These codes grant useful rewards, such as Recruitment Vouchers.

You need these vouchers to summon new characters. But are these characters good enough, or should they stay put and never engage in battles? We'll answer this question in our Sage's Path: Convergence tier list, focused on SP and SSR fighters. UR and SR are not included since the first ones have to be bought with real-life money, and the second ones are too weak. But first, we'll explain how to reroll.

S Tier

Hashirama Senju from Naruto

These characters are the best in the game, so you should use and upgrade them if you pull them. Of course, their summon rate is really low, so you'll need to grind to obtain them.

  • Sasuke (SP)
  • Orochimaru
  • Hashirama Senju
  • Minato Namikaze
  • Jiraiya
  • Pain Tendo
  • Madara
  • Itachi
  • Kakashi
  • Sasuke is a mighty warrior with an insane ATK level and powerful fire skills. His Dash skill is especially useful against stronger enemies since it deals DMG equal to 315% of his target's ATK. This skill cannot be evaded, attacks everyone on his path, and makes Sasuke invincible for a second.

Orochimaru specialises in support: he increases all Yin-type allies' DMG AMP and Accuracy, but he can also possess a fellow ninja to strike his enemies with a massive 745% of his ATK as damage.

As for Kakashi, he uses both electricity and water to attack, and his Kamui passive triggers a counterattack every 9 seconds. This skill deals 325% ATK damage and banishes the enemy for a second to another dimension.

Finally, Jiraiya is another strong fighter to put in a team since he can transform enemies into toads for a few seconds. Transformed ninjas cannot move or attack, making it easier to finish them off quickly and safely.

    2
    A Tier

    Naruto Uzumaki

These shinobi are still really powerful, so it's also relevant to upgrade them when possible. Their summon rate is higher than that of the S-tier ninjas, so they are (a little bit) easier to recruit too. Perfect for free-to-play players.

  • Uchiha Sasuke (SSR)
  • Konohamaru
  • Naruto Uzumaki
  • Sai
  • Samui
  • Karin
  • Rock Lee
  • Konohamaru is the first character to be recruited, and he's surprisingly a pretty solid choice. He specialises in AoE DMG and fire attacks, but he can also summon shadow clones with his passive when his HP falls below a certain point. He can also become immune to CC.

Naruto Uzumaki uses chakras to fight. These chakras deal a good amount of damage, but can also create physical clones. His passive, Survive, triggers One-, Two-, or Three- Tails Mode when his HP drops below a certain point. Thanks to these modes, Naruto recovers some HP and Rage, while increasing his ATK and DEF, and gaining Super Armor.

Rock Lee is another ninja summoned early. He uses wind to fight, transforming himself into a tornado to knock back his foes. His Survive passive lets him recover from fatal damage for the first time, all the while locking his HP for a few seconds, recovering his Rage, increasing his ATK, and gaining Super Armor.

    3
    B Tier

    Hinata from Naruto

Next up on our Sage's Path: Convergence tier list, we have average characters: they can be powerful within a good team composition, but the investment should be minimal.

  • Mei Terumi
  • Kakuzu
  • Zetsu
  • Deidara
  • Shikamaru
  • Sakura Haruno
  • Hinata
  • Hidan
  • Tsunade
  • Mei Terumi creates a corrosive zone, dealing DMG over time to her enemies, before exploding to deal even more damage, but the damage is not that high. She can also buff her allies' Dodge and reduce her opponents' Accuracy.

It's pretty much the same for Zetsu: he uses earth and plants to fight, deal DMG, and steal Rage, but his damage output is just average, even after some upgrades.

Sakura Haruno is a useful support, with different skills to heal her allies and debuff her enemies. But when it comes to fighting, she is just too weak compared to other, better options.

    4
    C Tier

    Choji Akimichi from Naruto

These characters have a better summon rate, but they are not worth it. Use them only if you don't have better options.

  • Shino Aburame
  • Temari
  • Choji Akimichi
  • Shizune
  • Kurotsuchi
  • Tenten
  • Haku
  • Omoi
  • Mabui
  • Ino Yamanaka
  • Choji Akimichi is a front-row fighter who can also heal himself, but the amount recovered is not worth it, especially if you have support-specialised ninjas on your team.

Ino Yamanaka's Boar-Deer-Butterfly passive reduces all enemies' Dodge by 20, and her Autumn Sakura passive can inflict Charm. The charmed target will then attack their own comrades, but only with basic attacks. So, once again, not worth it.

As for Shino Aburame, he fights using insects that can attack, knock back enemies, and reduce their Rage. There are some better debuffers in this game, though, so you shouldn't rely on him too much.

Like we said previously, this Sage's Path: Convergence tier list focuses only on SP and SSR characters. If you pull SR characters, never use them: they are even weaker than these C-tier ninjas.

    How to reroll

Now that you know who ranks where, let's find out how to reroll. Like in any other gacha game, rerolling is crucial in Sage's Path: Convergence to enjoy a strong start. Here is the process to follow:

  • Launch the game and use a guest account
  • Complete the tutorial
  • Collect your rewards. Don't forget to check all the tabs since there are quite a few of them
  • Use your vouchers to summon as many characters as possible
  • If you're not happy with your summons, click your profile icon (in the upper-left side of your screen) and then click Log Out
  • On the new page, click Delete Account
  • Start all over until you're happy with your summons. You can skip the cutscenes and the dialogues to do it faster
  • And that's our Sage's Path: Convergence tier list. If you've got any other games on the go right now, be sure to check out our Mongil Star Dive tier list and Titan Rush Hero tier list.

She still has nightmares about it (brrr).
