How to tame in Rune Slayer

Taming in Rune Slayer is a mechanic that will make you feel like you're playing a completely different game. If your goal is to tame all the beasts, then this guide will not only teach you how to tame in Rune Slayer, but also how to become a Beast Tamer.

Since Rune Slayer offers so many options, taming being one of them, you want to learn how to do it precisely, so even if you can't become a Beast Tamer, you can at least learn how to tame some beasts and add them to your collection. 

What is taming?

When talking about taming a beast, we're talking about taming a pet. Some of these pets can be mounted, but that's a topic for another article. In Rune Slayer, when you tame a beast, you can use that beast to help you defeat enemies. The pet will attack the same opponents as you (or the ones attacking you), and it will heal when you heal.

How to tame in Rune Slayer

To tame something, all you need is the required item for the beast you want to tame (each one can be tamed using a specific item), and then you need to give it to them. Taming is not guaranteed on the first try, so if it fails, just try again!

How to become a Beast Tamer in Rune Slayer?

Becoming a Beast Tamer is something entirely different. If you choose the Archer class, once you reach a certain point, you can pick a sub-class. For the Archer, Beast Tamer is one sub-class that allows you to tame specific beasts that otherwise cannot be tamed. Archer is at the top of the tier list for Rune Slayer that we recently made.
