How to get Bankai in Type Soul
Everybody playing Type Soul knows the true inspiration behind this experience, and it's none other than Bleach. Eventually, you can equip and ascend your Zanpakuto's power, and ultimately acquire a Bankai. So, if you want to know how to get Bankai in Type Soul, just read on, my friend.
The preparation stage
Obtaining a Bankai will take some time - it's not something you can get the moment you open Type Soul and barely learned the controls. You will have to face quite a few enemies, and there are several stages to pass through.Just like in the anime, Bankai awakens once you surpass a certain point in your development. I mean, even Ichigo took three days' worth of Urahara's training to do it - and most likely so will you, in Type Soul.
Unlocking Bankai stage 1 - Shikai
You will start as a Trainee, and to grade up, you will have to head over to Soul Society and accept missions from the mission board. So far, so good. Next, you will have to fight the enemy Hollows, and slowly (but surely) you'll get to Grade 2.Once you are Grade 2, you will have to fight your Shikai, which can be done by meditating. You will have to spend some time here and meditate several times until you're eventually teleported to the Shikai room.
Now, it's time to fight your Shikai
This first battle is not that hard (I mean, it's just your Shikai), so push through, and try not to die. If you die, you'll have to repeat the process and meditate again.Activate your Shikai
To activate your Shikai once you have defeated the boss, you just have to press E on your keyboard, and then the J key.
Stage 2 - Vizard
Getting Vizard is the next step. To unlock this, you have to collect 10 Hogyoku Fragments.How to get Hogyoku Fragments:
- Trading (recommended)
- Ranked
- Raids
- AFK World
I strongly recommend you get them from Trading - it's the fastest way to get Vizard.
Now, consume all the Hogyoku Fragments and then teleport to Hueco Mundo. There, you have to find the Vizard NPC and then kill it.
Fight your Vizard
After you fight your Vizard, just like you did with the Shikai, you will obtain it.Activate your Vizard
Just like you did with the Shikai, you can activate your Vizard now.Stage 3 - True Vizard
The True Vizard is basically a badass version of the Vizard. Harder, better, faster, stronger, if you will.How to unlock True Vizard
Unlocking this in Type Soul is fairly simple on paper, but it will take quite a bit of time. You will have to complete the following tasks:- Win 3 Raids with your mask on
- Grip any 20 Soul Reapers
- Grip Shikai 15 times
True Vizard will make your character a lot stronger, so I strongly recommend you stick to the tasks even if they take you quite a bit of time.
Stage 4 - Bankai
Now it's time to explain how you actually unlock the Bankai. There are a few steps to follow here, so make sure you do everything. Step 1:- Get Elite grade and win 13 Raids or
- Play 26 Ranked Matches
Getting Elite grade is not that difficult, as long as you keep playing the missions and slowly get stronger.
Step 2:- Go to your Shikai world
- Talk to your inner spirit
- Complete the task you're asked to do
The tasks are mainly focused on farming. You have to kill 1 Bawa, then around 80 Hollows, and then get 15 Elite grips. If you have a friend who can help you by letting you kill them 15 times, that's the fastest way, but otherwise, you can do it in Raids or Ranked.
- Note: if you die, you have to start the mission all over again.
- Talk to Urahara Kisuke NPC
- He will teleport you into his realm, and there you have to identify 3 Zanpakutos.
Finally, you can fight your Bankai in Type Soul!
The boss fight is quite difficult, so make sure you are as prepared as you can be. Dodge incoming attacks, attack when he's weak, and make sure you kite him. Kiting him is when you stay as far away as possible, and only attack when he's not performing any moves. It will take time, and time is all you need to have for this battle.Don't rush it, because you could end up dying if he hits you with one full combo.
