Get ready for Final Fantasy to invade Puzzle & Dragons next week
Straight outta Japan
Earlier in the year, Japan got a Final Fantasy crossover in the hugely popular match-3 RPG Puzzle & Dragons. Life's not fair, huh?
Or is it? Turns out that GungHo and Square Enix will be bringing that exact crossover to the west starting November 2nd and lasting until November 15th.
What that means is that heroes and villains from the Final Fantasy series will make appearances in Puzzle & Dragons.
The heroes will be available in a special Final Fantasy Egg Machine.
Whereas the villains will appear in a new dungeon called "Netherworld" - it has five floors, seven battles per floor, and ranges from Intermediate to Mythical difficulty.
A handy list of all the characters and weapons you can expect during the event, and the games they're from, has been provided:
- Final Fantasy: Chaos
- Final Fantasy II: Emperor of Palamecia
- Final Fantasy III: Cloud of Darkness
- Final Fantasy IV: Zeromus
- Final Fantasy V: Gilgamesh and Neo Exdeath
