Pokemon TCG Pocket lets you take sweet vengeance with Pawmot in latest Drop Event

Time to get those Solo Battles in order

Pokemon TCG Pocket lets you take sweet vengeance with Pawmot in latest Drop Event
  • Do Solo Battles for a limited time to grab promo cards
  • Promo Pack A Series Vol. 6 contains Pawmot, Ekans, Machamp
  • Event runs until April 17th

After giving away a whopping 1000 Trade Tokens in the last update, Pokemon TCG Pocket is once again spicing things up with a new Pawmot Drop Event. Apart from making me wish I had more time to complete my collection before a new pack is introduced, the latest Drop Event adds the adorably fluffy Pawmot to the fray, letting you take swift vengeance on your foes in Solo Battles.

In particular, simply clearing through Solo Battles will reward you with promo cards to add to your ever-growing collection. The Promo Pack A Series Vol. 6 might just contain a Pawmot with the Counterattack Ability, letting you do 20 damage to the attacking Pokemon if Pawmot is in the Active Spot and gets damaged by your foe. You might also snag a Floatzel, a Machamp, an Ekans, and a Bidoof while you're at it.

I've still got a ways to go before I can successfully complete the Shining Revelry expansion, but given that this new Drop Event is only running until April 16th, it's safe to say I'll be focusing on Solo Battles from now until then.

Now, I don't think I need to say how enthusiastic we are about this card battler given we mostly talk about it on our weekly Wrapp, but in case you're looking for something else, why not give our list of the best card games on iOS a look?

In the meantime, if you're eager to join in on all the fun, you can do so by checking out Pokemon TCG Pocket on the App Store and on Google Play. It's free-to-play with in-app purchases.
