Pokemon Go is releasing an exclusive Timed Research through its Pokemon World Championships 2022 Twitch broadcast
With just a little over 12 hours to go for the Pokémon World Championships 2022, the adrenaline is now pumping. It is the first year where Pokémon Go players will be part of the mix as they fight for the coveted 2022 Pokémon Go World Champion title. The event is being held at the ExCel Convention Centre in London, England, and fans from all over the world can watch everything unfold on Pokémon Go’s Twitch channel.
Watching the event carries its own benefits as the livestream will periodically give away limited-time codes in the Twitch chat, which will unlock an exclusive Timed Research. Players will have to be quick about redeeming the code as it will remain valid for only an hour once it is put in the chat.
Of course, there will be multiple chances so it's hard to miss out. And, once the code has been redeemed once, there is no need to do it again as all of them lead to the same research. The streams will be held for three days, with tomorrow’s beginning at 7:30 am UTC, and the ones on August 19th and 20th going live at 7:45 am UTC.
This special Timed Research focuses on the art of war as players will get an introduction to battling and they will also be able to choose the Pokémon encounters that will help them create a highly challenging Great League team. Here’s a look at the available encounter options as rewards:
- Team One – Ariados, Pelipper, and Galarian Stunfisk
- Team Two – Skarmory, Swampert, and Drapion
- Team Three – Talonflame, Venusaur, and Jellicent
This research is just one of the many facets that will be available for Pokémon Go fans while the World Championships take place. There is a tonne of other activities to take part in too. Check out our recent article to read all about them.
