With the launch of Pokémon Go’s Season 11: Hidden Gems just around the corner, it’s time to take a look at what this season has to offer. We already know of debutants like Sandygast and Cabrink, alongside the highly awaited Pokémon Go Fest 2023 which kicks off in London. But the Searching for Gold Research Day predates all of that as it is set to bring in the new season.

Pokémon Go’s Hidden Gems season is kicking off with the Search for Gold Research Day event on June 3rd. Similar to Community Days, it will be available between 2:00 and 5:00 pm local time, tasking players with a number of challenges in exchange for exclusive goodies and encounters.

If that sounds like a lot of hard work, just redeem some freebies by using these Pokémon Go coupon codes

For starters, trainers will be given Field Research tasks after spinning Photo Discs at PokéStops. Completing them will unlock encounters with Pokémon like Caterpie, Magikarp, Nosepass, Sableye, and Barboach. A few of them will also be found in the wild without the requirement of these missions.

The name of the event comes from the bonus that will be active for the entire three hours – there is a chance that PokéStops may turn gold without having to use a Golden Lure Module. Of course, not using it means Gimmighoul will not appear at Golden PokéStops, but that doesn’t stop its Coins from showing up.

In addition, players can also participate in the event-exclusive Timed Research, which can be purchased for $1.00. There’s nothing too special about it as it offers the same Field Research tasks with just an added chance of finding Shiny variants. The challenges will remain available until June 3rd at 5:00 pm local time.
