Netflix releases list of upcoming games for the summer, including Oxenfree II: Lost Signals

As we enter the summer, Netflix already has a great lineup waiting to keep players busy through the holidays. Its gaming division already has 60 titles under its belt with five more joining over the next few months.

Oxenfree II: Lost Signals (July 12th)

A sequel to the critically acclaimed supernatural thriller, the follow-up game tells the tale of Riley Poverly, who once again decides to explore Edward Island five years after the original incident. It brings back Night School’s signature naturalistic dialogue system in a brand new original story with a powerful cast of characters.

The Queen’s Gambit Chess (July 25th)

This title transports players into Beth Harmon’s world, where they play puzzles, matches, and challenge friends to see who’s the best at chess. It pays homage to the award-winning drama with familiar faces and iconic locations like Mr. Shaibel, Borgov, Beth’s House, Metheun Orphanage, and the Las Vegas Tournament.

Cut the Rope Daily (August 1st)

The legendary franchise returns with its latest iteration bringing a twist to the classic gameplay. Like before, players will cut rope, collect stars, pop balloons, and feed Om Nom who’s hungry for sweets. It brings back the beloved physics-based action, this time, with a new puzzle released every day.

LEGO Legacy: Heroes Unboxed (Coming Soon)

Later this year, players will be able to battle with their favourite Lego minifigures from over 40 years of history. There are over 50 characters, new and old, and the game is the perfect new way to interact with them. It is a strategic battle RPG which involves creating imaginative sets and battling with friends.

Paper Trail (Coming Soon)

The final game is set in a paper world and is a story about leaving home. In this top-down adventure, players will take part in numerous activities and meet a tonne of characters as they journey through the diverse world. The title has garnered a lot of fame with over ten awards already.
