Customisable

- Once Human's biggest update yet is here with the launch of Custom Servers

- The upcoming Global Version 2.0 Showcase on July 2nd promises a snapshot of what's coming soon
Once Human, NetEase's popular survival shooter, is set to massively expand with its latest update. Yes, Custom Servers and all the various tweaks and twists on the Once Human formula they allow are here. Not only that, but the Global Version 2.0 Showcase also arrives soon, showing off everything we can expect from 2025 and 2026.
Custom Servers should need little introduction to longtime multiplayer fans. Essentially letting you host and maintain your own little version of Once Human for friends and other players to enjoy. You'll be able to alter weather, the day-night cycle, character attributes, resource respawn rates and either make it into a hardcore PvE-focused experience or just a cosy builder.
But while you're tinkering around with your shiny new custom server (available through a subscription), you'll want to keep one eye on the upcoming Global Version 2.0 Showcase airing on July 2nd. In it, you'll be able to see the Once Human roadmap, including reveals of the next upcoming Scenario and more about Once Human Raidzone.

Ace Custom
NetEase opening up custom servers is a decision that's sure to massively boost the lifespan and appeal of Once Human for dedicated fans. Custom servers are pretty much standard practice on mainstays such as Rust and Ark: Survival Evolved, after all. However, I think what's more interesting is how NetEase is ploughing forward with brand-new updates and additions. The Global Version 2.0 Showcase is sure to bring in a great many excited players eager to find out what else will be arriving soon in Once Human.
Meanwhile, if Once Human's mix of cryptid-style survival and gunplay has your trigger finger itchy, why not see what else there is on mobile? We've put together comprehensive lists of the best shooters for Android and iOS, from all the best releases out there!
