What's the ideal flagship game for the iPhone?

It's time again for a quick reminder about this week's forthcoming Loose Threads topic (honestly, we feel like a pocket gaming mum keeping our flock on the straight and narrow).

The launch of the App Store is but days away and with it will arrive a veritable truck load of games, cementing the iPhone as a new contender in the handheld games race. That's the plan.

But everyone knows that the golden rule of any successful console launch is a triple-A launch title. Whether the iPhone will be getting that with the arrival of the App Store isn't certain, which means that we're free to let our imaginations run riot about what we would like, were the world we live in a perfect place.

Are there any sleeping giants of the industry that would make ideal candidates for becoming the poster boy for iPhone gaming? Or would you rather it was a completely original franchise tailored exactly to the iPhone's unique strengths?
