Gameloft's first WiiWare game goes live

But will TV Show King come to mobile too?

Gameloft's first WiiWare game goes live
|

Nintendo has just launched its WiiWare downloadable games service for Wii in the US - it's their equivalent of Xbox Live Arcade or the PlayStation Store, offering original titles at a cheaper price.

And as we've previously reported, Gameloft is well and truly on board, with plans to launch four games on the service. The first is available for US gamers now, and it's entirely new - TV Show King.

It's a bit like Sony's Buzz! except with more categories and the inclusion of Wii's Mii characters. There are more than 3,000 questions from history, geography and literature to science, sports and entertainment.

It looks pretty good judging by the video trailer, but it's got me wondering. Will Gameloft keep TV Show King as a Wii-exclusive, or bring it back to mobile?

Obviously, the Miis wouldn't make the transition, but the rest of the game would seem to be well suited for mobile play. Watch this space...
