We're all feverishly excited about Apple's big iPhone 5 event tomorrow. Even the Android and Windows Phone fanatics on the team are interested to see what The Big A's going to pull out of the bag this time.
But, as for today, it's been about Everything Everywhere's 4G network, Dead Trigger's bumper new update, and the launch of charming indie platformer Frutorious.

New releasesRampage-style monster smash-'em-up Demolition Dash has made its way over to Android - to the Amazon Appstore, to be more precise. Good job Amazon's app marketplace is now available worldwide, eh? Demolition Dash for Android costs £1.25 / $1.99. Get it here in the US, or on your device anywhere else.
Big updatesPinball HD has received a new table in the form of Arcade Pinball. It's got colourful arcade hall lighting, and a monitor that plays retro-style games, including an endless space scroller, car racer, missile defender, and block buster.

Randy O'Connor (Tiger Style employee by day, lone wolf indie developer by night) has turned zombie defence game Dead End into a Universal app via a fresh update. The patch also adds a new level and additional difficulty modes. The game's been reduced to 69p / 99c to celebrate.
Hothead's Zombie Ace has received a huge new update, and now hooks into GREE's mobile social platform for leaderboards. Among other things, the patch introduces a scoring system and tutorial. The update is available on iOS now, and should hit Google Play soon.
On the horizonSmartphone racers Aqua Moto Racing 3D and Snow Moto Racing 3D are both coming to the 3DS eShop in the near future. Matti Larson, CEO of developer Zordix, said that "the market for good downloadable games is blindingly bright."

The Game Atelier's SunFlowers - a virtual garden puzzle game - is heading to Vita and iOS this week. US gamers will have to wait until next month on Vita to get their mitts on it. We chatted to the studio a while back about this adorable indie game.

And...Japan-centric news site Andriasang is to cease posting fresh articles, as site founder Anoop Gantayat is moving on to pastures new. We've often used the site as a reliable source for news on Japanese games, and have linked to it innumerable times. Sad times, for sure.
