Ten Square Games has spent the best part of a decade making its money off fishing rods and hunting rifles. Medal Hunter keeps the rifle and changes what is standing at the other end of it. From the depths of water, we’re now going to the vast openness of the skies.
Medal Hunter is a wave-based PvP shooter that drops you into nine operations built around real conflicts like Warsaw, Pearl Harbor, Vietnam, the Falklands, Kandahar, Panjshir Valley.
Two of you face the same run of enemy waves at once, in one unbroken session, with no ammo limits and no gaps between rounds. Scoring comes down to target priority, accuracy, combo-building and how well you hold your nerve when the waves stack up. Medal Hunter rotates three shooting modes across the operations, so no two runs feel identical for long.
Each operation has its own Soldier's Haven, a personal field archive that fills up as you fight through it. Clearing tasks unlocks visual upgrades, rewards and collectibles tied to the weapons, missions and artefacts of that conflict, and each one opens a short newspaper-style write-up of the history behind it.
Push past the ninth operation and seasonal Campaigns open up, each with a themed conflict map, districts to take and a Battle Pass running free and premium tracks. Seasons finish with Conquest, a four-day leaderboard scrap for individual districts where the top performer in each takes a District Leader crown. That gets archived on your profile afterwards, so the bragging rights stick around.
Everything else is roughly what you would expect from a live shooter in 2026. Daily Quests, weekly objectives, a Login Calendar, Clubs, Club Race, Beast Hunt, co-op, leaderboards.
