Lost Light is hosting a massive Halloween celebration with a themed map, events, and more
Lost Light launched just a little over a month ago and it's ready to celebrate its first festival as Halloween is here. From today, players will be able to participate in multiple Spooktober events until November 10th. A new map is available for players to enjoy where players can complete daily missions and earn a tonne of rewards.
Lost Light’s shelter has been completely revamped to fit the theme with new jack-o-lanterns, creepy candles and other décor that screams Halloween. The darkness spreads over more of the in-game world as the Exclusion Zone has also been blanketed by eternal darkness. Above the heavy fog, crows can be seen flying, and even the dark forest is even more frightening now.
For a more in-depth Halloween experience, the map and AI robots have all been refreshed to look fit for the occasion. The robot will have pumpkin heads on them and defeating them will grant players random Halloween rewards. This also includes a chance of getting the HeLa Antibody, which is crucial if everyone wants to survive the upcoming pheromone outbreak.
During this event period, a number of Daily Missions will go live. Completing these quests will give rewards worth over 250 dollars, which include goodies like a Halloween avatar frame, Halloween emotes, backpack, and in-game supplies. Logging in for eight days in a row will also grant everyone a free weapon skin.
The game’s realistic art style makes things even spookier as all the pumpkin decorations and the Spooky Halloween skins look even more terrifying. All these horrors will boost the risk, which means better rewards will be up for grabs as well. Collecting Halloween Pumpkins all over the maps can be used to earn even more rewards.
