NetEase has officially launched an exciting new update for Lost Light, the studio's survival shooter on iOS and Android. In particular, players can look forward to diving into a new season, as well as exploring a new map and enjoying a fresh pet system among other updates.

In the latest patch for Lost Light, players can tinker around with more customisation options as they venture out into the futuristic map of Kaido. They have to keep their guard up at all times, though, as a new Boss called The Priest will put Fireflies' combat prowess to the test.

As for the new pet system, players can expect to bond with these new companions in the Shelter, as well as boost these pets' Affinity to unlock useful features such as carrying supplies and recovering them via the Retrieval ability.

The latest update also adds Thermal Glasses to the fray, which players can use to spot enemies taking cover. Plus, the new Lost Light Weapon Skin Customisation System lets players personalise their Weapon Skin with Spray Cans.

There are tons of other goodies in store for players during the update, so if you're keen on giving the new additions a go for yourself, you can do so by downloading Lost Light on the iOS App Store and on the Google Play Store for Android devices. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases. You can head on over to the official website as well for more info on the game, or join the community of followers on Facebook to stay updated on all the latest developments.
