KartRider Rush+ launches Season 17: Jurassic Island, featuring dinosaur themed karts and tracks
As we move forward into the new year, it’s time to put gears into reverse as Nexon has just launched Season 17 for its popular mobile racer, KartRider Rush+. Why are we moving backwards? Well, the new season is called Jurassic Island and takes place millions of years ago when dinosaurs freely roamed the planet.
KartRider Rush+’s latest season into the land of dinosaurs will feature a number of themed karts and tracks. These include the Lodumanodon and Cilia and the Flaming Dragster fiery racer that launches flame projectiles at enemies. New tracks include the Great Adventure on Jurassic Island and Dinosaur Ruins.
There’s of course a lot that will be part of Season 17: Jurassic Island. A new highlight kart, called Gallant Knight is being added. It is noble like a knight and sleek like the knight’s armour. Gallant Knight comes in two designs – Golden and Steel and can be unlocked from the Knight Centre.
Next is more content for the Sim Mode. It features Team Relays, which will allow players to join forces with their buddies and challenge opponents in team races. Then in Elite Challenge, a powerful boss encounter will take place and players must partake in a tough battle that ultimately rewards them with a key item to unlock an exclusive kart.
Between January 11th and 22nd, a number of goodies will be unlockable in the Free Super Batteries event. Finishing quests and participating in ranked matches will unlock Lucky Star Jewels. 30 Batteries, and Lottery Boxes. Winning every ranked race will grant Stamps that can be used for new items like a character and turbo crystal.
Another way to get rewards is from the Museum Entry Ticket, which will be available until February 2nd. Once again, competing in ranked races will unlock tickets that can be exchanged for Jurassic Museum Entrance, 500 K-Coins, and more.
