Honkai: Star Rail is releasing v1.3: Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins soon with a new playable area and characters
HoYoverse has just dropped a massive announcement as the highly anticipated Honkai: Star Rail update is due by the end of this month. Titled Celestial Eyes Above Mortal Ruins, the newly launched adventure RPG’s version 1.3 takes players on a thrilling journey through the Aurum Alley as three more characters join the game. And as always, there’s numerous fresh activities and reward to go after.
Honkai: Star Rail’s previous update saw Jing Yuan and Dan Heng join hands in hopes of resolving the Ambrsial Arbor crisis. Now that is has been averted, the group must focus on helping people return to normalcy. This is where the Aurum Alley, a brand new explorable area comes into play. It was once a commercial hub and players must restore it to its original glory by taking strategic decisions to revitalize the entire region.
This update’s new challenge is called The Swarm Disaster, which is a part of Herta’s Simulated Universe. It is named after the chaos caused by Tayzzyronth, the Aeon of Propagation. Players must make their way through procedurally generated domains that include several tricky encounters with the elusive Path of Propagation waiting at the end.
In addition, players can now add to their squads, three powerful new heroes. Dan Heng – Imbibitor Lunae is the first, a five-star Imaginary-type character following the Path of Destruction. He has a unique ability that allows him to consume multiple skill points in order to unleash powerful attacks.
Number two is Fu Xuan, a highly awaited avatar from Xianzhou Loufu. She is on the Path of Preservation as five-star Quantum-type. Finally, Landau family’s Lynx also joins Star Rail’s roster. She is also a Quantum-type character, rated at four stars and is on the Path of Abundance. The former excels at defence while the latter does her best to heal allies.
