Honkai Star Rail introduces a new social media-based event that revolves around taking in-game pictures for free premium currency

The excellent,\ freshly released turn-based gacha RPG Honkai Star Rail has revealed a brand new event for players to take part in that is equal parts in-game and real-world. This event is entitled Snap! Come See the Pictures I Took!, and will ask players to share some social media posts for a chance at winning 120 Stellar Jades, the game’s premium gacha currency.

Honkai Star Rail had a lot riding on it when it launched a little later in April, but it met and exceeded everyone's expectations. As the latest release post-Genshin Impact, many players were expecting a super highly detailed sci-fi world and story with loveable characters and excellent combat, and that is exactly what we got and then some.

Since launch, the game has released a few giveaways and hints at future content, but you could count this one as the only event run for the game thus far. And it’s a rather simple one, not requiring you to tackle any in-game bosses or tough fights or grind for materials. Instead, all you have to do is simply take some nice pictures using the in-game camera function.

According to the Twitter post, all players have to do to take part and be one of those 60 chosen winners is get into the game, find a nice spot, and go from there with the camera. Whether it be a selfie of your favourite character, a snap of your most beloved NPC, or just some excellent view from one of the game’s worlds, you can enter in any material for a chance at this premium currency reward.

From there, all you have to do is Tweet out that photo captured in-game with your account ID displayed and mark said Tweet with the #HonakiStarRail and #StarRailMoments. Then, at the end of the event period on May 12th, winners will be announced and you may just get picked!
