Heavenhells tier list (March 2026) - Best Witches to invest in to save the day
They're not really hat-wearing Witches flying around on broomsticks - they're students trying to fend off evil, and our Heavenhells tier list should help you rank the best ones.
Alright - I’ve spent waaaay too much time testing, comparing, and overthinking every single option across this RPG, so here it (finally) is - my complete Heavenhells tier list. Regardless of whether you’re just starting out or you're simply trying to optimise your lineup, this should give you a clear idea of which Witch is worth investing in.
Keep in mind that you can't have a single character out on the battlefield. Your squad will consist of four characters, and if you want to be extra thorough, you can set up a different squad for the various instances (Story, Special Op, Simulation and EX Stage).
I would suggest picking characters that have decent synergy, and whenever possible, picking the recommended Attribute.
The best characters are arguably the SSRs, but that's not set in stone. Some characters, like Momoko and Tsubasa, despite being SR, can prove quite useful. They are supports, but can fit extremely well alongside some DPS characters of higher rarity (like Freiya).
Heavenhells tier list
On the following pages, I ranked the characters based on their overall usefulness, but depending on what the enemy is weak against, some of them could change. Use this ranking as a guideline, but feel free to try out different comps according to what you have!Now that you've got a little bit more information on how this list works, let's dive right in. S+ tier
- Freiya (SSR)
- Erena (SSR)

Erena has very good synergy with Misha - Misha can inflict Burn, and Erena deals increased damage to targets affected by this effect. They both can work well in a team - if you don't have Misha, she can be replaced by Kanoko, who also inflicts burn.
Kururu is a beast against tanks. She can inflict Curse, which reduces their DMG and Endurance, but she also has some crowd control in the form of knockback. She is a great character to fight bosses with.
S tier

- Katia (SSR)
Mikuzume can deal a lot of damage with her kit. She relies on continuous damage, which is only amplified by the buffs she gains when she attacks. She also deals increased damage to enemies with Frostbite.
Katia can be a good DPS-support character. She deals decent damage, can apply Shock, but she also buffs Illumina allies' CRIT% and buffs Soul Recovery Rate. She also has a super cool design!
A tier

Yumir prioritises enemies in the front line, dealing decent damage. She can recover Soul when she hits enemies affected by Frostbite, but otherwise, her skill is not that impressive, hence her lower ranking on this Heavenhells tier list.
Ura is a "tank", or rather, a protector who grants allies a shield based on her own HP, while also buffing the team's Max HP. She can also buff her own DEF - all of these make her a decent front liner.
B tier

Lemon is quite underwhelming, despite being an SSR. She deals increased damage to Glacea enemies and enemies affected by Poison, but she doesn't really have a good team to put that synergy to good use.
Ino seems good on paper, but in practice, she seems to fall a bit short of what is advertised. She is a protector, but her passive only buffs her own HP. Her Unique skill grants damage reduction to allies within the field she creates, but that's about it.

C tier

All the characters in the C tier are not worth upgrading or using. These Witches are quite bad, in fact! Their skills can easily be replaced by some SRs, even, so I would suggest swapping them out at the first chance you get.
Once you have enough resources, go to the HUB> WiTCH Achievement and try to unlock the achievements for them, though. This will give you some additional goods.
