Tom Hanks' new trivia game Hanx101 Trivia launches onto Apple Arcade

After being announced to be dropping with September’s Apple Arcade monthly releases, Hanx101 Trivia has officially launched. This neat little game comes courtesy of the legendary actor Tom Hanks, hence the name, and is a simple but engaging title with lots of different trivia questions on offer and numerous unlocks to enhance the experience.

Hanx101 Trivia is exactly what the name entails - a trivia experience that will mostly have you answering questions that range from current events to 90s music to science and everything in between. Given that games like Trivia Crack or Jeopardy World Tour have stayed so successful and have remained classics on the App Store, another well made trivia-based multiplayer game is a welcome addition to the genre.

While there isn’t too much different about Hanx101, it does have some cool features that some other games lack. For one, the Wildcard round lets you ask your own question and force your opponents to answer it. You can play any prompt here, and it offers a way to freshen up the questions and keep your opponents on their toes.

Of course, Hanx101 also includes a vast multiplayer suite, allowing you and your friends to queue up against each other and test out your knowledge against one another. Combine this feature with the progression mechanics of unlocking new topics to play and new cosmetics for your profile, and there’s actually quite a bit to love here.
