Free Fire is hosting two new virtual tournaments in November 2021

November 2021 is looking packed for fans of Free Fire. Garena has just announced that it will be hosting two virtual championships for their battle royale soon. These contests are the Free Fire Asia Championship (FFAC) 2021 and EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa) Invitational 2021.

Such regional tournaments will allow more local teams to participate and win these kinds of events. Garena has always made an effort to provide fans with competitive as well as professional esports content and these two tournaments will let players from Asia and EMEA get a taste of that. Winning at these regional levels will allow players to qualify for larger championships and participate on a global stage.

The FFAC 2021 and EMEA Invitational 2021 promise to be action-packed for Free Fire fans and spectators as there will be much more entertainment because the gates have opened up for more professional local teams to enter. The Asian Championship will feature 31 teams from seven regions of Asia while its EMEA counterpart will showcase 12 teams across Europe, Middle East, and Africa.

For both the Free Fire Asia Championship and EMEA Invitational 2021, the Group Stages and Preliminary matches will take place on November 20th and 21st. They will also follow the same format. In the preliminaries, teams will battle it out in six rounds taking place in Bermuda, Purgatory, and Kalahari. Teams will receive points based on the number of kills and their ranking.

The regions participating in the FFAC 2021 are India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Cambodia, and the Philippines (MCP), Pakistan, Taiwan, Thailand, and Vietnam. The EMEA Invitational 2021 will see teams from the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), Europe, and the Middle East and North
Africa (MENA).

The finals will follow a similar format except that there will be seven rounds and the last map will be selected randomly. The EMEA Invitational finals will be on November 27th, while the Asian championship finals take place on November 28th.
