Garena has announced the next collaborative effort with their incredibly popular third-person battle royale Free Fire. This time around, they’ll be teaming up with the famous action hack-n-slash series Devil May Cry, specifically with DMCV, to release new themed events, in-game items, skins, and much, much more.

Devil May Cry is one of the most legendary action game series out there, with the fifth and most recent entry especially selling like hotcakes and becoming one of Capcom’s best-selling releases ever. The game features a lot of over-the-top action, along with a good bit of humour and a loveable cast, equaling out to a vibe somewhere between anime and soap opera in the coolest way possible.

So, naturally, with vibes that are full of energy, fire, and passion, Devil May Cry V is a pretty darn good fit for the Garena universe given how crazy it’s become. While no additions have been officially announced, it’s not hard to speculate what some of these additions from this crossover might be.

For example, it’s quite likely we’ll get new skins that are themed after the main cast of the game: Dante, Vergil, V, and Nero. Dante and Vergil especially are two of the most recognisable faces in gaming, so I’d put money on seeing them for sure. The others are more than likely, but possible to be excluded.

As for items, I’m hoping we see Vergil’s sword and Dante’s dual pistols, personally. They’d be a cool fit to stuff into Free Fire, and they could even go the extra mile and add in Nero’s chainsaw sword too. The possibilities are nearly endless!

So, if you’re a fan of Free Fire or Devil May Cry, or perhaps even both, you can expect to take part in this collaboration come sometime in February. Till then, go ahead and download Free Fire for free at either of the links below to get a headstart!
