Free Fire is revamping itself with an entirely new look and feel
Garena’s Free Fire has been around for pretty much half a decade now. In those five years, the battle royale has garnered immense success with a massive player base who have participated in all the events and collaborations. The game has also constantly evolved with updates featuring new maps, game modes, weapons, and features.
Now, after this long, it seems like it's time to turn over a new leaf as Garena is rebranding the entire look and feel of Free Fire, as it steps into a new era of mobile gaming. Over the last few years, the mobile gaming space has significantly increased and this revamp is Garena’s way of staying up to date. With these changes, Free Fire will have a whole new look with a brand new and modernised logo, a stylish knife icon, and Battle is Style, as their slogan.
Free Fire’s new slogan, Battle is Style has also been integrated to become the latest campaign that features Maxim from the game as the protagonist. A film has also been created to outline Maxim’s journey both inside and outside the game as a shop assistant. He wishes to let go of the mundane things in life, and find a challenge that unlocks his full potential. This new chapter also aims to inspire players to never hold back and keep forging ahead.
This entire brand refresh also sees the addition of a new program called FF Co-Lab, which is Free Fire’s global co-creation program. This will serve as a platform for casual players, professionals, and brands to come together to create content for the battle royale. This way, anybody with creative talents will be able to contribute to the game. Garena is launching this platform with the Light Up The Map contest that has tasked players with submitting their own Free Fire-inspired art piece.
